Toros Black is a dark Turkish limestone, and sandblasting does what it always does to dark stone: opens the surface, scatters the light and lifts the colour to a deep, soft grey with the black held in reserve underneath. White veins cut across at an angle, thin and few. Rain brings the black back for as long as the surface stays wet.
